These layers are used to identify census tracts which meet one or more of 3 of the 4 criteria listed in the Tree Solutions Now Act of 2021. Specifically, <\/span><\/p>

1. A neighborhood that was, at any point in time, redlined or graded as \u201chazardous\u201d by the Home Owners\u2019 Loan Corporation; <\/span><\/p>

2. A census tract with an average rate of unemployment for the most recent 24\u2013month period for which data are available that exceeds the average rate of unemployment for the state (5.1% per 2018-2022 ACS data); <\/span><\/p>

3. A census tract with a median household income for the most recent 24\u2013month period for which data are available that is equal to or less than 75% of the median household income for the state (75% of State median income calculated as $73,845 using 2018-2022 ACS data).<\/span><\/p>
